    Chilled water vessels can be made up to any size and pressure in stainless steel. The benefit of using stainless steel is that it is resistant to corrosion which therefore extends the life of the chilled water buffer vessel. This ensures that the end user is avoiding unexpected replacements causing disruptions to their operations.

    For larger installations, MPE can supply a carbon steel vessel painted with red oxide This will help to prevent corrosion to the steel shell and all vessels can be built with a thickened shell (extra 1,2 or 3mm) so it has a corrosion allowance to extend the life of the vessel.
